The considerations of fabric, fit and features offer a myriad of design options. There are certain fundamental criteria in an authentic boardshort that are universally essential. Great Fit. Quality construction. Sensitivity to function. Nagaré boardshorts are created with this in mind. Classic essentials with enduring style and considered details.

We created three styles that encompass all the qualities we have described. We offer two different fabrics and three different lengths with certain standard universal features. All our boardshorts have a no inseam construction that eliminates a major friction area. We use a shaped waist that sits just right on the low hip for superlative comfort. The drawcord closure has been refined to be as few layers as possible with great adjustability and stability. Pockets are placed higher on the hip to avoid the pendulum effect when loaded. We eliminated the fuzzy fastening stuff altogether. The ability to tear out the interior main label reduces irritation and we have purposefully kept branding understated.

In sizing we offer a refined industry-standard fit. The stretch style Logic has a slightly more tailored and fitted cut to take advantage of the performance characteristics of the fabric. The non stretch styles have a slightly more fuller cut offering just a bit more proportional volume than the stretch. We only offer even sizing for now. In between sizing depends on how you like to wear your trunks ie: If you like a loose fit then upsize as there is at least an inch of draw to cinch down on.

We hope you take care of your boardshorts as much as we took care in bringing them to you. Periodically washing them helps eliminate wax, salt and sand buildup in the fabric and trims which can cause irritation or malfunctions as well as keeping them smelling better than the back of your truck.
